My Dear Friend Elsie M. Tillotson

Elsie was my guiding light since I was a child. She married my Uncle Carl when I was 11 years old.  Even though they would eventually divorce she remained like a second mother, sister, aunt, advisor, counselor, supporter, and mentor to me throughout my life.

I respected her immensely for her knowledge, her intellect, her beauty (inside and out) and her caring nature.  She taught me so many things allowing me to set the bar higher for myself in life.

She helped me through many difficult times and I hope I helped her too.  We have celebrated so much together.  She had an incredibly nuturing spirit. She was always there for me and she made me feel loved.

​

She had a profound effect on my life and I'm a better person for having known her. 

 

I loved, admired, respected and truly adored her, and I always will.  I will miss her so much but know she is never far away.
